Thompson’s Roller Shutters are weather resistant and feature specific parts compared to standard roller shutters to be able to resist sustained weather-related corrosion. Our roller shutter is suited for applications where there is no overhead protection to the doors drum, bearings and motor and uses specific sealants, paints and sealed electronics to maintain operation in exposed environments.
The IP Rating
The IP Rating for the electronics in our weather resistant shutters can range up to an IP rating of 5,5 which includes protection of up to most quantities of dust and low water jets of all angles.
